Fibre floor screed, is a material accurately batched under factory conditions, consisting of a cement and selected washed aggregates. Introduced into the mix, are polypropylene fibres, to help minimize the potential of the occurrence of shrinkage problems, and a retarding agent which helps delay the setting of the screed to aid the laying process. Curing of screed should be at least 7 days, with the covering of plastic sheeting or similar. Fibre floor screed can be used for all conventional screed applications, but it should be remembered, that it is not a wearing course and requires a suitable surface finish. Recommendations:
