| Coloured Concrete |

Ordinary concrete has many uses, but consider the possibilities of coloured concrete. Now available from Minimix, it is concrete that can be colour matched to blend in or complement the surrounding landscape. This widely extends the otherwise limited appearance of ordinary grey concrete. Placing Coloured ConcreteNotes for guidance: - Changes in cement, aggregates and water content, will affect the concrete finish and final colour.
- It is imperative, that any work carried out using coloured concrete, is started and finished on the same day. You must be aware, that samples shown are only an indication of the possible final colour achievable.
- Colours may fade over the years.
- Coloured concrete must not be laid in extreme weather conditions, such as rain, temperatures below 5 degrees Celsius, or above 25 degrees Celsius, or if there is a risk of any of the above happening before the concrete has time to cure.
- Do not cover the wet concrete with plastic sheeting, hessian or leave ponding water. All will affect the final finish.
- Do not re-trowel the concrete surface as this will cause differences in finish colour.
